Harness: Three new stallions coming in 2026

webmaster|Nov 11, 2025

Dr. J Stallion Management has added three new stallions to their roster for the 2026 breeding season. Abuckabett Hanover, the 2024 Dan Patch Older Pacing Horse of the Year, will stand the 2026 breeding season at Tara Hills Farm in Port Perry, Ontario for an introductory stud fee of $4,000 CDN while the state of Ohio will welcome 2023 Milstein Winner and Little Brown Jug runner-up Seven Colors in addition to the royally bred Vic Zelenskyy, both standing at Crystal Springs Stables in Millersburg. Seven Colors will stand for $2,500 USD and Vic Zelenskyy for $2,000 USD.

Known for his blazing closing speed and durability, Abuckabett Hanover (Betting Line- All Tucked Up) won a leg of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes, the Nassagaweya, the Champlain and his elimination of the Metro Pace at the age of 2 and two legs of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes, his elimination of the Adios and the Messenger, the Simcoe and the Tattersalls at 3. Abuckabett Hanover developed into one of the premier older pacing horses of all time, adding a leg of the Graduate, the Mohawk Gold Cup (in his life best of 1:47 2/5), the Brower Memorial, the Haughton Memorial, the Dayton Derby, the Potomac Pace and the Fanduel to his resume. Abuckabett Hanover paced sub 1:50 in over two-thirds of his lifetime starts and paced 30 sub 26 last quarters, including two in a blazing 24 4/5. The list of horses that Abuckabett defeated in his racing career reads like a who’s who of harness racing superstars; Perfect Sting, Lou’s Pearlman, Rockyroad Hanover, Tattoo Artist, Linedrive Hanover, Charlie May, Ken Hanover, Allywag Hanover, Little Rocket Man and Ruthless Hanover.

Seven Colors (Stay Hungry – Rainbowinthedark) was one of the premier 3-year-old colts of his year, capturing the Milstein Memorial at Northfield Park in a dazzling time of 1:48 1/5, making him the fastest 3-year-old of all time on a half-mile track. Seven Colors also won two legs and the final of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and was second in both his elimination and final (by a neck) of the Little Brown Jug. As an older horse Seven Colors won a leg of the Graduate, was second in the Breeders Crown final and showed his versatility winning a leg of the 1 1/16-mile MGM Grand Prix Invitational Pacing Series at Yonkers. Royally bred, Seven Colors is a grandson of the great Somebeachsomewhere and out of the Bettor’s Delight mare Rainbowinthedark, who has sold yearlings for $700,000 and $300,000 and is a sister to the great Bettor’s Wish.

A former $550,000 yearling, Vic Zelenskyy is a son of Greenshoe out of the great Mission Brief. Vic Zelenskyy brings the very best maternal pedigree in all of trotting to the state of Ohio. Mission Brief was one of the greatest trotting fillies of all time, winning 19 of 27 starts while taking a record of 1:50 2/5f and earning $1,599,517, and has been just as successful as a broodmare. Mission Brief is the dam of this year’s Mohawk Million Winner Apex 2, 1:51 4/5 $890,599 and Kadena 3, 1:51 $209,917, who sold for $1,200,000 as broodmare in the recently concluded Harrisburg sale. Out of Breeders Crown-winning Southwind Serena, Mission Brief is a sister to leading stallion Tactical Landing. In a career limited by injury, Vic Zelenskyy displayed extreme speed, winning multiple legs of the Kentucky Sire Stakes and taking a record of 1:50 1/5.

Shares of both Abuckabett Hanover and Seven Colors are available with very advantageous terms. Please contact Dr. J at (717) 578-7395 or drjablonsky@drjstallionmanagement.com for more information about these three exciting stallions.
