Harness: Supplements remain open for Blooded Horse Sale
The winter edition of the Blooded Horse Sale is scheduled for Feb. 15 in Springfield, Ohio and supplements are still being acceopted.
"We are now able to keep our supplement open until three days before the sale," said manager Jerry Haws. "This gives people extra time to make a decision."
The supplement is eagerly anticipated for its late additions that often include attractive racehorses and broodmares. Supplemental entries for this 60th annual event will be taken through noon Sunday, Feb. 12.
The growing catalogue is now online. It features nearly 150 horses, stallion shares and breedings that includes a group of classy racehorses from the 'Burke Brigade,' a quality consignment from Spring Haven Farm and 21 mares and yearlings from Winbak Farm.
