Harness: Stay Hungry to stand at Hanover Shoe Farms
Hanover Shoe Farms, along with Brad Grant and Wendy Samelman, are pleased to announce that 2017 2-year-old colt Pacer of the Year Stay Hungry will join their stallion roster in 2019.
A son of super-sire Somebeachsomewhere out of the $2 million-winning mare My Little Dragon, Stay Hungry won the Breeders Crown as a 2-year-old on way to his award-wining season. This year at 3, he won the first two legs of harness racing’s Triple Crown while taking a record of 1:47 3/5 and amassing over $1.3 million in career earnings.
Called by trainer Tony Alagna, trainer of super-sire Captaintreacherous and promising stallion Artspeak, the most correct yearling he ever purchased, Stay Hungry will stand in Pennsylvania for an introductory stud fee of $6,000. Shares are available in this promising stallion. Please contact Jim Simpson (717) 637-8931 for further information.
