Pulled at the quarter and hustled up making up a lot of ground to reach the 2-5 winner at the half, ducked in late on the third turn, pulled the pocket at the three quarters and finished gamely to be clearly second best to the sharp winner

Was third over from post 6, stormed four wide on the final turn and finished gamely to just miss to the bias-aided 4/5 winner in a game placing

Had post 8, followed cover third over, angled 5 wide turning for home and finished strongly to get up

Left from post 6 and tucked third, moved out on the final turn, angled wide in the lane and finished well

Was 6th at the half and stuck behind gapping cover, began to edge three wide late on turn three, burst wide down the back, cleared to be second over, moved three wide again mid-final turn and finished gamely to get up in a big effort
