Trotter was 5th at the half, pulled and flushed out weak cover off the third turn while in a tough spot chasing a bias-aided 3/5 shot that was setting its own pace, finished fast

Trotter had post 10, left, tucked 5th, power-brushed to the lead at the half, trotted a quick middle-half, held okay for the show
