Left well from post 5 and parked a horse to the lead in :27 3/5, yielded, was shuffled back to 7th when that horse stopped, finished gamely for the show, home in :29 flat
MCLUCKY –
Left from post 7 and tucked 5th, went first over, battled into the stretch, was shaken off but only lost by two lengths in an improved effort
CREIGHTON HANOVER –
Left from post 8, was parked the mile without cover, wore down the leader on the final turn, took the lead, weakened late but held well for the show

Stepped up from $5,000 to $8,000 claimers off a win and a claim, left strongly in :26 3/5, yielded, brushed back to the lead at the half, drew off full of pace to win by 9 lengths

Left strongly and parked a horse to a :25 1/5 first quarter, yielded, brushed back to the lead before the half, yielded to the first over horse at the five eighths and weakened but finished an okay fourth in an improved effort
ROYAL REX –
Had post 2 but ended up 10th at the half, followed weak cover and finished quickly late

Kept up well to a fast first quarter, pacing a :26 4/5 first quarter himself, went first over, pressed hard through a :27 2/5 third quarter over a sloppy track, won gamely
MAJOR BUCKS –
Left from post 7 and was used hard to the lead in :26 4/5, set a pressured pace in the slop, finished third but only lost by two noses in a game effort
ANWAR HANOVER –
Went first over into a :27 1/5 third quarter against a tough 2/5 shot, held okay
GIANT MUSCLES*** –
Trotter left from post 6 and was parked the mile pressing the pace, held gamely

4yo gelding shipped in from Canada, took all the money, smoked them first over with a snappy :52 4/5 last half over the off track, drawing off impressively
RESOLVE –
Classy 6 year old trotter came off a six month layoff, ranged first over in the mile and an eighth race and drew clear gamely late
GRAVE DANCER –
Followed cover fourth over and finished sharply for the place in an improved effort
