Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, pressed the leader almost every step of the way and held gamely to miss by two noses

Had post 8, was 4th over, followed cover wide at the three quarters, remained three wide and drew off full of pace

Left alertly from post 6, set a brisk pace on a windy night that produced mostly very slow middle-halves, and was a sharp winner

Had post 7, left, tucked 5th, followed weak cover, brushed three wide down the back to clear cover and went up to challenge the favorite, was a solid second
