Left and was used hard forcing a :27 3/5 sloppy track first quarter, was parked the mile without cover, pressed the pace and held gamely for the show

FEEL LIKE A FOOL -

Had post 7, shot to the lead in :26, set a quick pace and was a game second behind the sharp favorite

BRODY -

Left from post 6, paced a 26 1/5 opening quarter while parked out, remained on the outside and brushed to the lead at the three quarters, sharp win

Left and refused to yield, set the pace under constant pressure and drew clear handily

Shot to the lead in :26 1/5, set the pace and drew off to an demanding win

CITY HALL -

Got used hard battling for the early lead and then hung out prompting a hot pace, held well considering the trip

KING'S CAVALIER -

Trotter had post 6, went first over from a tough spot, forced the pace against the bias-aided 3/5 winner and was clearly second best

MEADOWLANDS

4/1: 2w, + closers, sloppy track, headwinds

JL CRUZE -

Champion trotter, now 5 years old, came off the layoff, was patiently handled by Campbell, who had it measured from the start, followed cover second over, tipped wide for the drive and rolled by on his own power in a good-looking return

SPIDER BLUE CHIP -

Trotter left from post 8 in an amateur driving event and was parked the mile without cover, battled gamely for the lead and held well for the show

ASHOK ACE -

Saved ground, swung out in the stretch, was trapped behind a wall of horses, cleared late

INVICTUS HANOVER -

Left and was used hard to clear past a :26 2/5 first quarter, yielded, sat the pocket, got locked in the box which allowed the winner to get the jump on him, cleared in mid-stretch and finished gamely for the place

J EAGLE FEATHER -

Had post 9 in return, followed excess cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished with good pace from a tough spot, last quarter in :26 3/5

MCARDLES LIGHTNING -

Peaking 4yo was handled aggressively by Andy Miller, left from post 7, waited for the dust to clear then brushed sharply to the lead before the half pacing a :27 1/5 second quarter, drew clear impressively in a lifetime best 1:49 2.5

INTHEBLINKOFANEYE -

Game veteran was parked the mile without cover from post 10, prompted the pace and excusably weakened while only losing by 6 lengths

STARSKY'S DREAM N -

Left from post 6, tucked third, went first over against a buzz-saw, weakened but it was a race where the fractions and time were considerably faster than par for the class level

ITS HUW YOU KNOW*** -

Trotter left well from post 6, parked a horse to a :27 opener, broke at the quarter, went into a full gallop, was taken back on the far outside, recovered but lost at least 12 lengths, was 8th at the half, made up ground rapidly along the inside on the final, angled wide in the stretch and finished fastest of all in a monstrous effort

DALLENBACH HANOVER -

Speedy pacer left from post 6 and was parked to the lead in :27 3/5, set the pace under second-half pressure and was a game second behind the pocketed 6/5 favorite

WIGGLE IT JIGGLEIT -

Had post 7, thought about leaving, floated wide into the first turn, raced off the pace, got stuck in an impossible spot 4th over behind a slow pace and horrible cover, rallied three wide on the final turn, finished stoutly for the place, paced his last half in :53 4/5
