Left alertly to the early lead and yielded, was badly shuffled to 6th, found room in the stretch and finished gamely to miss by two necks in a blanket finish
FLYING ISA N –
Was 8th behind a slow pace, followed cover, followed cover three wide at the three quarters and finished quickly for the show
AMERICAN VIRGIN –
Was used to a :27 3/5 opener over a tiring track, yielded to the sharp winner, chased the pace, held okay
COUSIN MARY –
Had post 9, made up a lot of ground in the last half, followed cover and finished quickly for the show to miss by two necks in a blanket finish
SOS BAMBIE –
Left from post 6 and was used hard in a three way early pace duel, took the lead past a :27 quarter, set the pace against the bias, yielded on the final turn, excusably weakened
OUR VACATION –
Left, yielded, regained the lead before the half, drew clear nicely as the only wire to wire winner of the night
CAL EXPO

PINK LADY –
Had post 8, followed the odds-on favorite and made up eight lengths in the second quarter, lost cover approaching the half, brushed to the lead and drew clear
NORTHFIELD
3/4: 8w, + speed
3/3: 6w, no bias
3/2: 7w, + speed
MAYABELLE –
Had post 8, followed cover off a modest pace and finished with solid late pace in the stretch to secure the show spot
MAN CAN HE SKOOT*** –
Left from post 8 and tucked 4th, went first over into a stepped-up last half, prompted the pace against the bias-aided 6/5 winner and held well for the show
MIAMI VALLEY
3/4: 6w, no bias, 18 degrees at post time, times on the slow side
3/3: 4w, no bias, off track, track continues to play fairly, closers do pretty well here, stalkers in the pocket do well, it’s not an easy track to go wire to wire
3/2: 3w, no bias
3/1: 3w, no bias, leavers did well
PRIDECREST –
Left and yielded and was third after lead changes, went first over and held okay
HEZABLUECHIPBOY N –
Left and was used hard parked past a quick half for the lead while pacing a :26 3/5 first quarter, had pressure once he got the lead and weakened late but held the show gamely
COOL LIKE THAT –
Left and was used hard to the lead in :26 3/5, yielded to the sharp favorite, chased a fast pace and held the show
CINNAMACK –
Left from post 6 and was used hard parked to the lead in :26 3/5, set a quick clip and held the show

Was 2nd off a layoff, got bet down to 1/2, went first over, looked like a winner in midstretch but hung late and lost by two necks, may have been overconfidently driven
TALENT SOUP –
Was 4th over in a late developing flow, fanned wide turning for home and finished well
