LADY'S CRITIC -

Left from post 9 and was used hard to the lead in :27 2/5, set the pace and held well for the show in an improved effort

NEEDLES AND PINS -

Broke before the start from post 2, recovered in 7th, followed cover, went three wide making up good ground but excusably flattened out; price factor in exotics

Was used hard parked the opening half on a long first over bid, took the lead past the half and drew off impressively
