NO MONKEYS ALLOWED –

Was 8th at the half, followed poor cover, swung wide for the drive and finished strongly to get up for the win from a tough spot

FOX VALLEY SALSA –

Left from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :28, set the pace under constant pressure and excusably tired while pacing home in :29 3/5, respectable for that claiming level

CENALTA DIAMOND –

Had post 8, got the key driver change to Luke Plano, followed poor cover, swung wide late on the final turn and powered home strongly to win going away

NORTHFIELD

3/13: 5w, no bias

3/11: 9w, + speed

COUNTLESS GOLD –

Was 6th at the half, followed cover, made an old-school four wide power brush approaching the three quarters, engaged the leader on the final turn and drew off full of pace in the stretch

SHEZ A SWIFT –

Set a quick pace under constant pressure while parking out a horse, held well

CLIMATE HANOVER –

6/5 shot had post 6, moved at the quarter on a long first over grind, held okay

EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT –

Hustled up to challenge before the half, pressed the bias-aided 2/5 winner, weakened in the stretch but it was an improved effort; price factor in exotics

APACH OF LUCK –

Left and was used hard to the lead in :27 3/5, yielded, pulled the pocket to go first over, battled and took the lead into the stretch, was out-kicked but held the place gamely

SOUTHWIND AMAZON –

Left from post 7, was used hard to clear past a :26 4/5 opener, set a fast pace and jogged

MIAMI VALLEY

3/13: 7w, + speed

3/12: 1w, + closers, tiring track, 6 favorites that left the gate and had the lead at some point lost
3/11: 6w, no bias

3/10: 3w, no bias

J K HALL –

Left from post 7, tucked third, went first over approaching the half, pressed a :27 4/5 third quarter and held well for the show

APRICOT SOUR –

Left from post 8, was parked the mile without cover, pressed the pace, took the lead in the stretch, weakened but it was a tough trip over a track that favored closers

FRANZO –

5yo Ohio bred made even money look like stealing here, shot to the lead in :26 4/5 from post 8, rated the half then paced a :54 2/5 last half pulling away for another sharp win

ANISTON SEELSTER –

Left from post 8, was parked to the lead in :28, set a pressured pace and held gamely for the place behind the pocket winner

TINDER –

Trotter left from post 7, was three wide part of the first quarter then was hung first over, ever reached the leader but held okay considering

ROSECROFT

3/12: 5w, no bias

DANCING RUSTY –

Had post 6, moved at the quarter on a long first over grind, pressed the favorite hard through a :27 4/5 third quarter and held gamely for the show

OWEN HANOVER*** -

Left from post 7, was used very hard three wide and parked past the half for the lead, took on pressure from there and gave way grudgingly late

DOVER DOWNS

3/14: 1w, + closers, windy

LEW’S MAVERICK –

Grinded first over, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter, finished in :27 4/5, just missed

MAJOR STARLIGHT –

Left and was parked behind cover, lost cover just past the half, continued to grind first over and was a solid second

3/11: 3w, no bias

NATHAN FEELSGOOD –

Left from post 8 and was used hard to the lead at the half, was met with immediate and strong pressure, weakened in the stretch but only lost by 3 lengths

3/10: 1w in one race, racing canceled due to track conditions

MEADOWLANDS

3/11: 4w, no bias

3/10: 3w, no bias

BETTOR’S EDGE –

8 year old classmaster had post 10 and too much to do, rallied wide and finished willingly from a tough spot

MAJOR WAR –

Was 10th early, followed excess poor cover, swung four wide and finished well from a tough spot in an improved effort

Left from post 6, followed cover around the first turn then lost cover and went up to challenge, forced a fast pace, began to weaken off the third turn, ducked inside on the final turn and actually finished willingly along the inside in a game effort

ORILLIA JOE –

Paced a :26 4/5 third quarter first over, couldn’t get by the sharp 4/5 favorite but held well for the show
