Left and tucked, quarter-moved to the lead, parked a horse to a fast half yielding grudgingly, edged out of the pocket past the three quarters and got up gamely

Shipped in from Yonkers with a key drop in class, left from post 7 to the lead late on the first turn, yielded and was third but immediately pulled again and rushed up, was used hard to regain the lead from the 4/5 favorite at the half, excusably tired in the late stages
