Followed a horse's quarter move making up 9 lengths in the second quarter, lost cover at the half, held okay

11 year old left and was parked to the lead in :26 2/5, set a fast pace under pressure the opening half and drew clear in the stretch

Left from post 8 and was parked to the lead in :27 3/5, yielded and was shuffled in tight quarters

A TRUE SMERK -

Was first over a long way, prompted the pace against the 2/5 favorite, held okay

VICKER -

4yo mare shipped in from Northfield, left from post 7, was used hard to the lead in :27 2/5, set the pace and drew off to a dominating win
