Was 6th at the quarter, made a strong move to gain eighth lengths and take the lead passing the half, gave way on the wire in a game placing

PACIFIC STRIDE –

Was 8th following cover and finished quickly to just miss with a :26 4/5 last quarter

NORTHFIELD

6/25: 9w, no bias, five horses rallied to win from off the pace with cover, so not a bias even though 9 horses went wire to wire

6/23: 6w, no bias

ITS A GOOD THING –

Left from post 7 and tucked third, went first over engaging the pacesetter at the half, took the lead in the stretch, was out-kicked late but held well for the show

HOOSIER

6/23: 7w, + speed

FEELIN LIKA WINNER –

On this list last week after being used hard setting the pace, drew post 9, raced off the pace, followed cover and drew clear with a :27 1/5 last quarter to win and pay $42.40

CYCLONE KIWI N –

Left and was parked to the lead in :26, yielded, brushed back to the lead at the half in :53 2/5, opened up a two length lead, held off the 4/5 favorite for a game win

ALWAYS A Z TAM –

Left from post 6, tucked 4th, rushed up to challenge approaching the half, was shaken off but held okay

VOLLEY BALL BEACH –

Two year old broke before the start and was far back, he was still fourteen lengths behind at the quarter, made a strong uncovered move to reach contention and drew clear

PHILADELPHIA

NEVER BACK DOWN –

Was used hard leaving to get the lead in :26 3/5, set a quick pace under pressure and held well for the place

BJ’S SWEETHEART –

Left from post 8 and tucked 4th, went first over, paced a :27 4/5 third quarter, held well

SKYFUL OF LIGHTERS –

Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, forced a quick pace, weakened in the stretch but only lost by three lengths in a good try

SWEET TALKIN SATIN –

Left from post 8 and tucked 4th, went first over strongly pacing a :26 4/5 third quarter, took the lead on the final turn and drew clear to a sharp win

CONTROL TOWER –

Was 9th and on the move at the quarter, picked up cover to be third over, swung wide for the drive and finished solidly to get the show while only losing by two noses on the wire

I’M SOME GRADUATE –

Left strongly from post 8 to the lead in :26 1/5, yielded, pulled to challenge the tough pacesetter at the three quarters, was shaken off but only lost by a length

BETTOR’S EDGE –

Classy 9 year old strongly from the rail forcing a :25 1/5 first quarter, yielded but quickly retook, set a hot clip under hounding pressure from the 4/5 favorite Highalator going a :26 2/5 third quarter, responded to mild urging to prevail by a half length in a big effort

WINWOOD SCOUT –

Trotter left and was parked the mile without cover, forced a quick pace, tough trip

FASHION CREDITOR –

Trotter saved ground and was shuffled in tight quarters, angled for late clearance in the stretch and finished well

Left from post 8 but took an early tuck 6th, rushed up boldly down the backstretch, pushed the favorite pacing a big middle-half, was shaken off but held the show

FIJI –

Trotter left and yielded, was shuffled back to 6th along the pylons, angled for late clearance in the stretch and finished well

PRAIRIE PANTHER –

Left slowly from post 8, flushed out weak cover, swung wide for the drive and finished strongly in the stretch to just miss

CHEYENNE JEFFREY –

Was third over, followed cover three wide on the final turn, tipped four wide turning for home and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot

ODDS ON DELRAY –

Was 5th at the half and first over into a stepped-up last half against a tough 1/2 favorite, paced his last half in :54 flat to be clearly second best

SAULSBROOK LANNY –

Had post 8, left and tucked, went first over into a :27 4/5 third quarter and held the show

CARRACCI HANOVER –

Had a tough parked-out trip from post 6, brushed three wide to clear tiring cover then grinded first over and held well for the show in a blanket finish
