AZURE SEELSTER –

Left well from post 8 and was parked to the lead in :26 3/5, set the pace and held well for the place

RUNNING ACES

6/23: 2w, + closers, this track seems more tiring than most five eighths harness tracks, the drivers don’t lean far back in the bikes; the stretch is long for a five-eighths track, 650 feet

6/22: 2w, + closers, not a strong bias but somewhat tiring

HAWTHORNE

6/23: 4w, no bias

6/22: 7w, no bias

6/14: 4w, no bias

SWINGING JENNY –

6/21: 3w, no bias

SHE’S HEAVENLY –

Was 8th at the half, followed the winner’s cover and finished sharply for the place

ADMIRAL DEWEY –

Trotter was 10th and far back early, followed cover past the half and finished with solid late trot, last quarter in :26 4/5

DAKOTA ROADSTER –

Had post 7, was 9th, swung out three wide late on the final turn, angled further outside turning for home and finished boldly to get up on the wire with a :25 3/5 last quarter

JAGGER ROCKS –

Left strongly to the lead in :26 2/5, set a quick clip and held the show

YOU’REMYHEARTHROB*** -

HARRINGTON

6/24: 5w, + speed

OWOSSO FLASH –

Had post 8, picked up weak cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely to be second best

THE MEADOWS

6/24: 6w, no bias

6/22: 4w, no bias

PHILADELPHIA

6/23: 3w, + closers, not as tiring as Saturday, but, again, not typical for this track

6/22: 2w, + closers, 5 odds-on favorites failed on the front end, there was 5 off the pace winners, four favorites that went first over finished off the board, driver George Napolitano, Jr. , who is very good on the front end, was there for five races, he lost with four odds-on favorites including two 2/5 shots, three of the favorites he was on the front end, and the other he left, yielded and went first over; very unusual for this track

PAPRIKE BLUE CHIP –

Left from post 7, tucked third pacing a :27 2/5 third quarter, went first over pushing a :27 3/5 third quarter, took the lead, out-kicked by the favorite late while losing by a neck

HAYDEN HANOVER –

Left sharply and yielded, was shuffled back to 7th losing all chance, had late pace

MEADOWLANDS

6/22: 2w, + closers, not a severe bias, pocket horses did well, so not a pure closer’s track but not easy to go wire to wire…of the two wire to wire winners, one got away with a slow pace and the other was a much-the-best 4/5 shot off a drop in class

6/21: 5w, no bias

ALWAYS A PRINCE –

Left and used very hard to get the lead and went to the half in :52 4/5, continued on setting a blazing pace and held the show gamely
