Was 9th at the three quarters, followed cover 4th over, rallied wide and finished well for the show with a :27 1/5 final quarter
VINTAGE BABE –
Left from post 8 directly outside of the post 7 leaver, was parked to the lead past the quarter and then used hard under pressure as soon as she cleared, excusably weakened while only losing by 2 lengths
NORTHFIELD

RICHLYN OMBRETTA –
Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, held well
THE LAND SHARK –
Trotter left from post 6 and was used hard to a :55 3/5 half while parked two turns, excusably tired on the final turn
HOOSIER
6/3: 3w, + closers
6/2: 2w, + closers
INCREDIBLE SHARK –
Went first over, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter, pressed the 2/5 winner, was shaken off but that sharp rival but held well for the show
GLOIRE DREAM –
Trotter broke before the start from post 9 and was 10th and far back, followed weak cover and finished strongly for the show

THE MEADOWS
6/5: 3w, no bias, off track
6/3: 2w, no bias
SOUTHWIND LEA –
Left from post 8, was used hard to the lead in :27 2/5, set a pressured pace, finally yielded to the winner on the final turn and held gamely to be second best
SHESASMOKINLADY –
Classy mare dropped in class, had post 1, left hard and forced tucks, rated the half then paced a :54 2/5 last half in a handy win which could serve as a confidence builder
PHILADELPHIA

POCONO DOWNS
6/5: 6w, no bias
6/4: 4w, no bias, sloppy track
6/3: 5w, no bias
HEAVEN’S GAIT –
3yo colt shipped in from Yonkers, was 4th over behind poor cover at the half, stormed three wide at the three quarters and drew off quickly while full of pace
DRUNKEN TERROR –
Had post 8, followed poor cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot
FROST DAMAGE BLUES –
Left from post 7, tucked 4th, went first over into a stepped-up final half, paced a :27 third quarter and held gamely for the place
SPLIT THE HOUSE –
Shot to the lead in :26 and forced a tuck, set a hot pace going to the three quarters in 1:20 3/5 and drew clear
GRACIE’S PARADE –
Left and yielded, regained at the quarter, carved out a hot pace, didn’t tire that badly
