5-year-old moved out behind Bolt The Duer at the half, lost that one's cover but brushed sharply to take control at the half, pulled away from the field impressively
SCOTT ROCKS*** -
Left from post 8 and was pushed three wide on the first turn when the winner darted up between horses, tucked 4th, was shuffled to 7th, moved out third over, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely
SAM'S ESCAPE -
Followed cover 4th over, swung wide for the drive and finished quickly

Looked to leave but took back, rushed up approaching the half, picked up the cover of the 2-5 favorite but lost same while pacing back to back :26 4/5 quarters through the middle-half of the race, challenged the sharp winner, weakened late, but held the show
