YONKERS
6/19: 6w, + speed (The new start/finish line seems to be much better for the outside posts. The first four cards with the new start/finish line produced results that were much better for the outside posts 6, 7, and 8. Post 7 won nine times, a win percentage of 19%. With the old start/finish, it was winning just over 5% on the year. There were also five post 6 winners and two winners from post 8. Total win percentage for posts 6, 7, 8 combined was 33%. The win percentage for these three posts prior to Friday was a combined 17%. These numbers may not prove to be an average, time will tell. But, it seems likely that the outside posts will win at a higher percentage with the new track configuration. So far, the change seems to be a good one.)
