Went from 5th to 1st with a power-brush to take the lead at the half, paced a strong middle-half and just missed

FOX VALLEY NEMITZ –

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th, power-brushed to the lead pacing his second quarter in :27 1/5, kept up a solid pace, ran out of steam late but held well for the show

FRONTIER FRANK –

Had post 9, followed weak cover 4th over and finished sharply for the show

JKNR LIKETELL*** -

Two year old first time starter was 9th at the three quarters, came out behind cover, angled to the far outside about eight wide turning for home and rallied boldly to win going away

NORTHFIELD

6/18: 7w, + speed, warm night for June 18

6/16: 11w, + speed

A BETTOR WORLD –

Was used very hard in a speed duel through hot fractions before finally securing the lead off the third turn, held well for the place

MR THREE QUARTERS –

Left and was three wide forcing a :26 3/5 first quarter, settled in behind cover then lost cover off turn three, excusably weakened but only lost by three lengths

STUCKEY DOTE –

Was 6th at the half third over behind poor cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the show while pacing his last quarter in :27 2/5

MR BIG LOAD –

Left from post 5 and tucked third, hustled up first over to engage the favorite at the half, pushed a :28 2/5 third quarter, was shaken off but held okay

POP COP –

Left and was parked the mile without cover forcing a fast pace, tough trip, held okay

HOOSIER

6/16: 4w, no bias

6/15: 4w, no bias

VAGUE TRACES –

Left fast and was used hard to a :53 4/5 half, excusably weakened, lost by three lengths

FEELIN LIKA WINNER –

Shot to the lead, set a blazing pace and excusably weakened over this tiring track

ROCKINBEACH –

Was used hard making up 7 lengths on a second-quarter brush to take the lead at the half, just missed on the wire

RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN –

Power-brushed to the lead at the half going from 6th to 1st, yielded to a strong move by the winner and held okay for the show

CASTLE FLIGHT –

Left and yielded, was shuffled to 5th after lead changes, followed cover, lost cover and was forced to grind into a :27 third quarter, tough trip, held okay considering

AMERICAN CHROME –

Left and was used hard parked to the lead in a quick opening half, wilted late losing by two lengths

HARRINGTON

6/18: 5w, no bias, hot and humid

LETSMAKEAWISH –

Had post 5, blasted to the lead in :26 1/5, rattled off a fast pace and held well for the show

STAR MESSENGER –

Left from post 6 and was used hard to the lead in :27, set a quick pace under second-half pressure and finished 5th, but only lost by a length

LEW’S MAVERICK*** –

Was 7th at the half and stuck behind terrible cover, brushed three wide at the three quarters making up good ground on the final turn and finished gamely for the show

INDEPENDENT ONE*** –

Followed tiring cover, made up a lot of ground through the middle-half, moved three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the place with a :27 1/5 last quarter

I AM THE COWBOY –

Was 7th at the three quarters, followed weak cover, swung wide for the drive and finished quickly for the place from a tough spot

CRUISE PATROL*** –

Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, grinded first over pacing a :26 3/5 third quarter, was shaken off but held okay while only losing by two lengths

BALLERAT BOOMERANG –

Had post 2, was shuffled back to 7th in tight quarters, cleared late and finished with solid pace to get the show

POCONO

6/17: 6w, + speed, leavers did well

6/16: 5w, no bias

KING HARVEST –

Had post 5, gunned to the lead in :26 1/5, yielded, regained the lead at the half, yielded to strong pressure at the three quarters and held okay for the show

NEWSDAY –

Had been racing in N.Y. sire stakes in upstate, really took to the bigger track here, moved four wide to clear weak cover on the final turn and drew off full of pace in the stretch

CASUAL COOL –

Broke before the start, recovered with a lot to do, followed cover and finished with solid stretch pace, making up 13 lengths in the final three quarters to finish second

Left from post 5 and was used hard to the lead in :26 4/5, set a quick clip under second-half pressure and held the place
