Big guy left and was 5-wide heading into the turn and wide most of the turn, followed cover while parked the mile, brushed three wide at the three quarters to clear tiring cover, took dead aim on his classy stablemate, Nuncio, and finished resolutely to get up under steady urging in a big effort and a smart drive by Hall of Fame trainer Jimmy Takter

Left strongly three wide part of the turn, took the lead late on the first turn, set a quick half under pressure while refusing to yield, was able to rate the third quarter under expert handling by Campbell, shook off Royal Ice at the three quarters, dug in to meet the challenge of his powerful stablemate, Trixton, and finished a game second to that one

ROYAL ICE -

Sharply improved colt left but got cooked forcing a quick pace in a speed duel with Nuncio, excusably tired at the three quarters; should be tough to catch against weaker

SHELLISCAPE -

Got moving down the back and picked up excess weak cover, barreled wide at the three quarters and four-wide turning for home, finished strongly to get the show
