Power-brushed to the lead pacing a :27 2/5 second quarter, took on pressure in the second half and held okay for the show

BUCKETHEAD FRED –

Had post 7, was 8th at the half, followed cover 4th over, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished with solid pace for the show from a tough spot

BLUE SPANX –

Had the rail, kept up well early pacing a :27 1/5 first quarter, went first over prompting the quick pace, was shaken off but didn’t tire that badly in a deceptively tough trip

THINKBIG DREAMBIG –

Had post 8, got moving at the quarter, picked up poor cover, had no shot trying to close into a fast last half but finished willingly from a tough spot

IDEAL ACE –

Left from post 8, was parked the mile without cover, pressed a fast pace and excusably tired; tough trip

DAPPER DUDE –

Set a hot clip under heavy pressure throughout and lost by two lengths, fine effort

BIT OF A LEGEND N –

Had post 8, followed cover 4th over, followed cover three wide on the final turn while appearing load, stacked wider for the drive and finished strongly to win going away

CAVIART LUCA –

Had post 7, was hustled out of the gate, went four and five wide on the first turn, took the lead at the quarter in :26 2/5, yielded on the second turn, held okay along the inside late
