Trotter was parked the mile, challenged uncovered, took the lead, weakened late but held the show in a fine effort

FASHION DELIGHT*** -

Left and tucked 4th, power-brushed to the lead with a :26 2/5 second quarter, took on pressure through a :27 3/5 third quarter and held off the closers for a sharp win

MAYWOOD

7/11: 3w, no bias

7/10: 6w, + speed

LOOKER HOTSPUR -

Left from post 6 and was parked to the half for the lead, held okay for the show

ELIJAH'S JET -

Had post 8, was 4th over behind weak cover, rallied wide on the final turn and finished gamely to beat five horses

TOTAL SIN -

Left from post 8 and was used hard dueling for the lead through torrid fractions, excusably tired

LOVEDANCINWITHYOU -

Left from post 7 and was used hard three wide to the lead in :27 1/5, yielded and held willingly in the stretch

DON’T WORRY B HAPPY -

Left and was parked the mile without cover forcing a quick pace, tough trip

NORTHFIELD

7/10: w, + speed

DOORAH DOUBLE -

Had post 7 and was on the move at the quarter on a long first over bid, held okay in a much-improved effort; needs better post

HOOSIER

7/12: 4w, no bias

7/11: 1w, + closers

7/10: 3w, no bias

METRO JOHN -

Was far back from post 10 and finished with good late pace

VELOCITY VESPA -

Left from post 9 and was used hard to clear in :26 3/5, set a quick pace against the bias and held okay

MATT THE BRUISER -

Was 10th and followed cover 5th over, finished quickly from a tough spot

A COOL CARD -

Had post 7, moved at the quarter and picked up poor cover, finished sharply for the place

BOSSA NOVA BABY -

Had post 8 and poor cover, rallied wide around the final turn and finished gamely

MICKEY HANOVER -

Third over behind tiring cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely to get up with a :54 1/5 last half

Trotter was stuck behind poor cover, angled wide for the drive and finished fast

Left fast to the early lead, yielded, was shuffled in tight quarters, cleared late with pace

IDEAL MAGIC -

Left to the early lead and yielded, was blocked most of the stretch and had pace

LET'S DRINK ON IT -

Left from post 9 but took back to tuck 8th, followed cover, swung wide at the three quarters and came home in :25 2/5 for the win

SOMEWHERE IN L A -

Had the rail, paced a :26 3/5 first quarter keeping up well while under a hard hold, went first over, wore down the leader in the stretch but was out-kicked on the wire; nice try

TRIXTON -

Saved ground behind a slow pace, pulled and flushed out cover, lost cover late-final turn when his cover broke, finished well under mild urging

HE'S WATCHING*** -

Fast colt once again kept up to his cover willingly despite the hot pace, drew off quickly once called upon to tie the world record in another impressive performance

ALWAYS B MIKI -

Floated out from post 9, took back off the first turn but then moved up behind the flow while following a horse that really wasn’t going anywhere, was caught three wide around the entire final turn, angled wider for the drive and finished bravely despite the impossible trip to nail the place in the final steps, last quarter in :25 3/5

ARTSPEAK*** -

Long-striding 2-year-old pulled first over and gradually made his way up, took the lead late on the final turn and drew clear impressively completely under his own power

DEALT A WINNER -

Two-year-old broke leaving and dropped way back, hustled up to the flow down the back and was third over, moved wide at the three quarters and finished strongly in a big effort
