MOHAWK

1/27: 3w, + closers, off track, track continues to be on the tiring side, much more so than most harness tracks and similar to the way it played last winter; on this night, two horses rallied to win from 9th, two horses closed to win from 7th, a horse rallied to win from 6th

COZ AND EFFECT –

Left from post 5, was used hard to the lead in :27, rated a solid pace and gave way grudgingly to the pocket winner late while finishing in :28 2/5

MIAMI VALLEY

1/27: 7w, no bias, off track

1/26: 2w, no bias

1/27: 6w, no bias, sloppy track
1/24: 2w, no bias, sloppy track

TRIPLE SEVEN SEVEN –

Left and was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace, held okay only lost by two lengths

THE DARK SHADOW –

Was on this list last week with asterisks, gunned to the lead in :26 1/5 from post 8, set a quick pace under pressure and dug in for another game win, paying $32.60

WINDSONG LEO –

Classy veteran left from post 9 and was used hard to the lead in :27 1/5, set a well-rated but solid pace in the slop with a :27 3/5 third quarter and drew off in the stretch

DEBT MOTIVATED*** –

Was 9th at the half fourth over behind terrible cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot

LETTUCEROCKTHEM A –

Trotter was 8th at the half behind very dull cover, followed cover three wide at the three quarters and finished willingly from a tough spot

JUSTABITOFCHARM –

Had post 5, was shuffled in tight quarters, lacked room in the stretch, appeared to have trot and may be worth a look at a price
