MCKNIGHT -

Was 7th at the quarter, power-brushed to the lead at the half and drew off to an easy win

BELL VALLEY TIGER -

Was 9th at the three quarters and finished strongly for the place, last quarter in :26 4/5

FIVEKNUCKLESHUFFLE -

Followed weak cover and finished quickly in the stretch

MAJOR BLUE COAT -

Left well from post 7 and was parked to the quarter in :28 2/5, set the pace against the bias under second-half pressure and didn't tire badly

NORTHFIELD

1/23: 6w, no bias

DOVER DOWNS

1/22: 7w, + speed

ONERY SHARK -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 8, prompted the pace, took the lead in the stretch, was out-kicked but held gamely for the place

1/22: 5w, no bias, mild headwinds

Trotter shipped in from Yonkers and seemed to like this track, left and worked his way to the lead past the quarter, set the pace and drew clear to a handy win
