Left from post 5 and was used hard parked the mile without cover battling for the lead through fast fractions, held gamely for the show

COVER UP HALL –
Left hard from the rail, yielded, regained the lead past the quarter setting a fast pace, weakened but only lost by two lengths
FALSE RESPONSE –
Left well and parked a horse to the quarter, yielded, went first over challenging the 2/5 winner and was a game second

Left from post 7, was parked to the lead in :28 2/5, yielded to the 1/2 favorite, chased the pace and held well for the show

Left from post 8, pulled the pocket to go first over, challenged the leader, wore that one down in the stretch, was out-kicked but held okay for the show

Slipped out third over at the half, had weak cover, gunned three wide at the three quarters, gained ground steadily while three wide around the final turn and continued gamely in the stretch to win going away with a sharp last quarter of :29 3/5

Thirteen year old was seventh at the half, gunned three wide at the three quarters, was three wide on the final turn and finished gamely to get up from a tough spot
