Harness: Sharp Horses and Track Trends from Jan. 26 - Jan. 28
NORTHFIELD
1/21: 5w, no bias
1/28: 8w, + speed
1/27: 5w, no bias
DOVER
1/28: 6w, + speed
1/27: 6w, + speed
1/26: 5w, + speed, not a severe bias but leavers and first over horses did well and the two of the three closers that won hugged the pylons, sloppy track
SOPHIA SEELSTER -
Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, wore down the leader to take the lead but was out-kicked by the pylon skimming 4/5 favorite in a solid placing
FOX VALLEY HERMIA -
10 lengths behind early, launched a strong first over bid, brushed to the lead at the 5/8's and held off the 6/5 favorite for a game and sharp win
DEACONS VALLEY -
Had post 6 and poor cover, moved three wide at the three quarters and finished willingly from a tough spot
THE MEADOWS
1/28: 4w, no bias, sloppy track
1/27: 4w, no bias, off track
FREEHOLD
1/19: 8w, + speed, sloppy track, final times and last quarters were very slow
MONTICELLO
1/28: 6w, + speed, off track
1/26: 6w, + speed, off track, cold
