Was shuffled behind a tiring horse inside, finished fast late to get up for the show

RHP –
Had post 7, moved at the quarter, was on a long uncovered grind, pressed a :28 2/5 third quarter, was shaken off and excusably weakened but beat five horses home, tough trip
LIKEAFIREBALLSHOT –
Left and raced parked the mile prompting the pace and held gamely to be second best

Had post 8, followed poor cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished strongly to be gaining quickly on the leader
