Had post 7 and was 9th at the half, followed poor cover 4th over, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot
CROSSWINDS DODGER –
Had post 7, followed cover, went three wide on the final turn and finished sharply for the place from a tough spot

Was 7th at the quarter, followed a dull flow, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the show, paced a :55 4/5 last half from a tough spot

Left alertly to the early lead, was third after lead changes, tried to brush to the lead at the half, was rebuffed, battled gamely on the outside, never gave up, missed by a head
ROCKY GROUND*** –
Left from post 8 and tucked 5th, went first over on a long grind, paced a :56 1/5 middle-half over the off track and was a game second
FLASHY TRICK –
Had post 8, was on the move at the quarter, followed cover 4th over, followed cover three wide around a tiring horse, was three wide on the final turn, finished gamely for the place
SUGAR ISLAND –
Left from post 8, was parked the mile without cover, pushed a quick pace against a tough front runner and excusably weakened, tough trip
