Was 9th at the half, picked up poor cover, went three wide at the three quarters and finished quickly for the show from a tough spot

FOOL ME ONCE –

Left from post 8 and was used hard to the lead in :26 1/5, set a quick pace and excusably weakened losing by three lengths

OVERLORD –

Left and was used hard to the lead in :26 4/5 over the off track, took on strong pressure from the 6/5 winner and battled gamely to the wire to be clearly second best

3/2: 4w, no bias

ROLL N CATCH –

Left from post 6 and was used hard parked to the half for the lead, paced a :55 middle-half, weakened late but only lost by a length

WHIRL MONROE –

Had post 9 in the second tier, which is not suitable to this veteran speedster’s game, went evenly from fourth over; upset chance on the lead with a better post

NORTHFIELD

3/2: 6w, + speed, sloppy track

2/29: 10w, + speed

YANKEE OSBORNE*** –

Left and tucked, chased a vicious pace with a :53 1/5 half over a sloppy track, moved to the lead into the stretch, weakened late but lost by less than a length

MEADOWLANDS

2/29: 3w, no bias

2/28: 6w, no bias

ELENIARK A –

Was fourth over behind weak cover, finished with solid late pace for the show in a race she probably needed off a four month layoff

DOGFIGHT –

Had a tough trip parked a long way without cover from post 7, only lost by 3 lengths; watch for the driver change

DA MAGICIAN –

Left from post 8 and worked his way to the lead at the half then raced under pressure from there, held gamely to be 2nd best behind a much-the-best dropdown 6/5 winner

COVERED BRIDGE –

Left and established the pocket trip behind sharp speedster Bell I No, pulled confidently just past the three quarters and had a lot of pace to roll home in :26 4/5 for repeat win

BUCKEYE IN CHARGE –

Left and had a tough parked out trip, prompted the pace, weakened, but his recent form is much better than it was last year and he is a threat, especially with a catch driver

2/29: 6w, no bias

2/28: 9w, + speed

LINKJACK HANOVER –

Followed weak cover from post 7 and finished sharply for the place from a tough spot
