Had post 7, saved ground, gained rapidly on the final turn and continued gamely to just miss to the 4/5 winner in a sharp placing

Left from post 9 and was used hard to clear past a :26 4/5 first quarter, set a fast pace under pressure and didn't tire that badly; a big effort at this class level

MAYWOOD

2/19: 5w, no bias, bitterly cold

MAKE IT WORK -

Set the pace under heavy pressure and excusably weakened, trip looks like a pocket trip

LIFE ON THE ROW -

Had post 7, followed weak cover third over, followed cover three wide around the final turn and finished sharply against the bias for the show

NO FEAR NO DOUBT*** -

Was first over a long way, paced a strong middle-half pressing the pace and just missed

HAKUNA MATATA -

6th at the half behind poor cover, brushed three wide on the final turn and finished well

Trotter left from post 8 and was parked to the quarter for the lead, set the pace and drew off impressively

Third over behind weak cover, moved three wide approaching the three quarter pole, was three wide around the final turn and finished strongly for the place

ELECTRIC OUI -

Had post 8, moved out third over at the three quarters, swung wide turning for home and finished fast, last quarter in :27 4/5

ARTSY PRINCESS -

Had post 6, followed cover 4th over at the three quarters, swung wide for the drive and finished quickly

CLIMATE HANOVER -

Had post 6 in a race with a slow pace, moved up to 5th when a horse broke in front of him on the second turn, moved out first over past the half, made a strong move to reach the leader at the three quarters, battled with that one through the final quarter, game win

DUKE DID IT -

Followed cover from post 7, tipped wide turning for home and finished solidly
