Had post 7, followed cover from well before the quarter and made up good ground through the middle half, finished gamely for the place in a solid effort
TIRADE HANOVER -
Trotter left from post 8 and was used hard to the lead in :26 4/5, yielded to the bias-aided and sharp 1/2 favorite, chased a quick pace and weakened but it was a fine effort

UPFRONT LORNE -
Went first over pacing a :27 3/5 third quarter and held gamely to the wire
ROYAL HEART*** -
Made a strong first over move against the sharp 3/5 favorite pacing a :26 2/5 third quarter, was shaken off by that one but held gamely to miss by less than a length
FREEHOLD

Was first over a long way from post 7, finished well to miss narrowly

JUSTIN ON BROADWAY -
Trotter left well from post 8 and was used hard to clear past a :29 2/5 first quarter, set a quick clip while trying to bottom out the field, something that is difficult to do going a mile and a quarter, tired but held well for the show
