Hustled up to challenge approaching the half, was shaken off by the bias-aided 4/5 favorite but was coming back on again late in a good try

VELOCITY STIFLER*** -

Left from post 9 and was used hard to the lead in :27, set a fast pace under pressure and held gamely for the show

SKYFUL OF LIGHTERS –

Had post 7, was third over behind weak cover, finished gamely for the place

FREEHOLD

GRANDPA DON –

Left from post 5, was parked the mile without cover, battled with the favorite throughout and held gamely a length clear for the place
