Fast 5-year-old shot to the lead in :26 1/5, yielded, popped the pocket and brushed back to the lead at the half, uncorked a quick third quarter to open up on the field in 1:20 4/5, gave way grudgingly late in a big effort

OK COMMANDER -

Grinded first over into Warrawee Needy's wicked pace and held well

DINNER GUEST -

Had post 11 in the second tier, was outside following cover, lost cover at the half, brushed to the lead, took on strong pressure and tired in the final sixteenth in the mile and an eighth race; a solid effort considering the trip

Left from post 8, followed horses in a race with five lead changes, lost cover, brushed to the lead past the half, paced a :27 3/5 third quarter and held okay considering

GEORGE JETTISON -

Followed cover second over, moved three wide at the three quarters as his cover weakened, finished sharply in :26 4/5 to get the show

MAJOR UPTREND -

Was 4th over from post 8, swung three wide at the three quarters, angled wider turning for home and finished strongly for the place
