Left and was used hard pressing a :27 1/5 first quarter, couldn’t clear and remained parked prompting the pace, excusably weakened in the final quarter, tough trip
CROSSWINDS DODGER*** –
Was 7th at the half and in a seemingly impossible spot, rallied sharply three wide through the final quarter and continued his strong rally down the stretch for the win
BARLEY UP –
Was three lengths behind a :26 4/5 first quarter, then went first over with a hard challenge into the quick pace, weakened late but only lost by a length
UNCLE REIMUS –
Had post 7 and was 9th at the half, pulled behind a dull flow of cover, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished quickly for the show from a tough spot
PRAIRIE JAGUAR*** –
Left from post 6 and worked his way to the lead early on the second turn, maintained a quick pace with the driver hustling him most of the mile, easing up late while well clear
