12/14: 0w, + closers, off track, rainy weather continued this week, making the track noticeably tiring

12/13: 1w, + closers, deep and tiring sloppy track, fractions and final times extremely slow, much slower than normal

USGENERAL W A MANN –

Was 8^th at the three quarters, followed weak cover and finished strongly for the show

GENE EUGENE –

Had post 8, followed cover 4^th over and finished gamely for the show

DAYTON

12/16: 6w, no bias, off track, hard to call this a closer’s bias because six horses went wire to wire but seven horses rallied to win off cover trips and six of them were far back, four horses that won, for instance, were 7^th at the three quarters. This track is one of the least speed favoring five eighths tracks anyway, but it was somewhat tiring Monday

LINCOLNJAMES –

Was 6^th and third over behind poor cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished strongly to miss by a head

DOUBLE IMPACT –

Was 9^th at the half and fourth over behind poor cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot

R U MACHIN ME –

Was 9^th at the three quarters and fourth over behind weak cover, finished with solid late pace for the show

MYSTICAL CHARGER –

2^nd off the barn change, had post 7, was eighth at the half, made an old-school potent three wide brush at the three quarters, swooped to the lead and drew off full of pace

ROLL’EM UP –

Was 7^th at the three quarters behind weak cover, finished with solid pace for the show

CHOCOLATE CRACKERS –

Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, prompted a quick pace, finished 7^th but lost by less than two lengths in a fine effort

DOVER

12/16: 4w, no bias, off track

CESPEDES Z TAM –

Was 8^th at the half and stuck behind weak cover, rallied three wide around the final turn, finished 6^th but only lost by two lengths; watch for the drop in class

AIN’T IT FUN –

Had post 6, picked up terrible cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the show with solid late pace

ART OF FIRE –

Was 8^th at the half and fourth over behind dull cover, went three wide at the three quarters making up ground sharply and came on gamely to finish 3^rd in a blanket finish

RAT TAIL –

Had post 7, gunned to the lead in :26 over the off track, yielded, chased the quick pace while sitting third on the inside and got up gamely for the win with a solid last quarter

Went first over from a tough spot against into a quick last half and held well for the show

Had post 8, followed weak cover 4^th over at the three quarters, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished sharply from a tough spot for the place

A CRAFTY LADY –

Quarter-moved into a hot pace, prompted the pace from the half, tough trip

BETCHA BABY –

Grinded first over from fifth and paced a :27 3/5 third quarter, held the show

BLUTO’S DIAMOND –

Trotter was 8^th at the half fourth over behind weak cover, went three wide at the three quarters and finished willingly from a tough spot

ANGERS BAYAMA –

Left from post 7 and was parked past the quarter for the lead, set the pace with back to back :27 4/5 quarters in the middle-half and drew off to a handy win
