Had post 8, followed cover 4th over and finished gamely for the show

12/16: 6w, no bias, off track, hard to call this a closer’s bias because six horses went wire to wire but seven horses rallied to win off cover trips and six of them were far back, four horses that won, for instance, were 7th at the three quarters. This track is one of the least speed favoring five eighths tracks anyway, but it was somewhat tiring Monday

Was 8th at the half and stuck behind weak cover, rallied three wide around the final turn, finished 6th but only lost by two lengths; watch for the drop in class
AIN’T IT FUN –
Had post 6, picked up terrible cover, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the show with solid late pace
ART OF FIRE –
Was 8th at the half and fourth over behind dull cover, went three wide at the three quarters making up ground sharply and came on gamely to finish 3rd in a blanket finish
RAT TAIL –
Had post 7, gunned to the lead in :26 over the off track, yielded, chased the quick pace while sitting third on the inside and got up gamely for the win with a solid last quarter
