Gunned to the lead in a contested :26 4/5 first quarter and was under pressure setting a fast pace, held okay losing by only two lengths

CHAMPION ROCK*** –

Left well, parked a horse to the quarter and yielded, went first over pushing a :27 1/5 third quarter against the sharp 6/5 winner and was a game second

Left from post 7 and worked his way to the lead at the half, lost the lead late on the final turn but dig in gamely to finish third losing by only to heads in a blanket finish
