Left and was parked to the lead in :27 4/5, the fastest first quarter of the night, set the pace against the bias and didn't tire that badly; may be live at a price now

DOVER

12/9: 7w, races 1-7, + speed, races 8-15, + closers, sloppy track seemed to get more tiring as the day went on

12/8: 7w, + speed

ALEXCHASE -

Was 7th at the half while third over, followed cover three wide around a tiring first over horse and finished sharply to just miss

SPRINGFORTH -

Followed weak cover 4th over, brushed three wide around the final turn and held well

JUST BETTOR -

Left from post 8 and was parked past a quick opener for the lead, set a lively pace under second-half pressure and was a game second behind the 3/5 favorite

ITS JESSE TIME -

Trotter left from post 8, followed the 7 horse's cover, lost cover past the quarter and remained parked the mile pressing the pace, wore down the leader in the stretch but was out-kicked by the pocket horse in a game placing

NORTHFIELD

12/10: 6w, + speed

12/9: 7w, + speed, sloppy track

12/8: 6w, + speed

IRA'S BIG GUY*** -

Game gelding, who used to be a one-dimensional closer, is not quite versatile, left fast, set a hot pace while extending his margin to a big lead and drew off impressively

12/9: 2w, no bias

MONTICELLO

Followed dull cover, finished well against the bias for the place
