Left well to the early lead, yielded, was third, moved again and brushed back to the lead at the half, set the pace and held well for the place
P L HOUDINI –
Trotter moved out past the quarter and was uncovered a long way, prompted the pace, was shaken off but held okay for the show
JOHNNY Z –
Left well to the lead from post 7, yielded, was shuffled to 4th, angled out in tight quarters in the lane, found room in midstretch and had steady pace
IDEAL WILLIE –
Had post 10, saved ground, swung out behind a wall of horses in the stretch and cleared late with pace; factor in vertical exotics
DR C’S Z TAM –
Followed a poor flow and was 4th over at the three quarters, rallied four wide and finished well for the show from a tough spot
MONTICELLO

STRATOCASTER –
Left from post 5 and got strung out in a speed duel, forced a quick pace, weakened off third turn, lost by 6 lengths, which wasn’t that bad considering the trip
