IN THE SHADOWS –

Was 5^th early, hustled up to challenge at the half, kept the pressure on, wore down the leader in the stretch but was out-kicked late in a game placing

ARTS JEM –

Left from post 7 and was used hard to the lead past a :26 3/5 first quarter, yielded to the sharp 4/5 favorite and held okay for the show

DRIBBLE DRIVE –

Had post 8, followed weak cover and finished sharply for the place

BUSHWACKER –

Left from post 7 and tucked 4^th, went first over against classy 1/2 favorite Wakizashi Hanover, prompted the pace, held okay

WHITE ROLLS –

Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, paced a :27 3/5 third quarter pressing the pace, was shaken off but held okay

THE MEADOWS

NATIVE ART –

Left and was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace against the sharp 1/2 winner and held well

NOTHINBUTANALLSTAR –

Left well from post 7 and was three wide to the lead past a :27 4/5 first quarter, shook off a bid at the half, yielded to the 3/5 winner at the three quarters and held well for the show

POMPANO

12/26: 5w, no bias

FREE LOVE –

Left from post 6 and was parked to the lead in :27 2/5, yielded, was shuffled to 4^th, slipped out second over approaching the three quarters and went evenly

MEADOWLANDS

12/29: 2w, + closers, off track

HOT PATOOTIE –

Left well to the early lead, yielded, was third, moved again and brushed back to the lead at the half, set the pace and held well for the place

P L HOUDINI –

Trotter moved out past the quarter and was uncovered a long way, prompted the pace, was shaken off but held okay for the show

JOHNNY Z –

Left well to the lead from post 7, yielded, was shuffled to 4^th, angled out in tight quarters in the lane, found room in midstretch and had steady pace

IDEAL WILLIE –

Had post 10, saved ground, swung out behind a wall of horses in the stretch and cleared late with pace; factor in vertical exotics

DR C’S Z TAM –

Followed a poor flow and was 4^th over at the three quarters, rallied four wide and finished well for the show from a tough spot

MONTICELLO

12/29: 6w, + speed, snow, off track, track was very slow

12/28: 4w, no bias

12/27: 4w, no bias

STRATOCASTER –

Left from post 5 and got strung out in a speed duel, forced a quick pace, weakened off third turn, lost by 6 lengths, which wasn’t that bad considering the trip

MAY DAY*** –

Left and was used hard to the lead in :28 2/5, yielded to the 3/10 favorite and chased that one home clearly second best in a sharp effort
