BLACKWOLF RUN -
Left from post 7 and was used hard to clear past a :28 1/5 opener, yielded to strong pressure at the three quarters and held well to be clearly second best
HEAD OF THE BARN -
Quarter-moved and was parked on a long first over bid, held well for the show
U BETTOR WATCH OUT*** -
Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, challenged hard from the half and held gamely for the show in a blanket finish
THE MEADOWS
12/23: 5w, no bias, off track
12/22: 6w, no bias
SAM HILL -
Left from post 7 and was used hard to clear in :26 3/5, yielded, was shuffled to 6th, finished gamely for the show
DESPERATION -
Left in :26 4/5, parked a horse to the lead, yielded, brushed back to the lead at the half, ran out of steam late but missed narrowly while holding the show
BESTNOTLIE HANOVER -
Left from post 9 and had a tough parked-out trip first over a long way, held okay
MISS PINKY PIE -
Had weak cover, was 8th at the three quarters, finished willingly from a tough spot
MONTICELLO
12/24: 6w, no bias, sloppy track
12/23: 7w, + speed
12/22: 7w, + speed
PRIVATE ASHLEY*** -
Had post 8, went first over from a tough spot and finished gamely for the place
KING FOR A QUEEN -
Was third over from post 6, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished sharply
