Trotter left from post 7 and was parked to the half for the lead, yielded to pressure at the three quarters and didn’t tire that badly

ELLIESJET N –

Left strongly to the lead in :26, yielded and regained the lead before the half, took on pressure through a quick third quarter and didn’t tire that badly

KOLBEE’S STAR –

Was first over a long way into a stepped-up final half, held okay

Left from post 6, was parked the mile without cover while prompting the pace, weakened but it was a tough trip

PIER HO TEMPTATION –

Left from post 5 and was used hard to clear the lead past a :27 3/5 first quarter, set a lively pace and gave way grudgingly late to the pocket winner

YONKERS

FINE DIAMOND –

Had post 6, was 7^th at the half, pulled out but ducked back in off turn three, moved up along the inside, moved out late on the final turn and angled wide, finished well

NORTHERN ASSASSIN A –

Was outside a long way first over from post 6 and finished sharply to just miss
