Kept the hole closed early through a quick first quarter then brushed first over but was unable to clear the lead while pressing a fast pace, didn't tire that badly
LIMA SHOWOFF -
Left from post 7 and was used hard to get the lead past a quick opener, then was hounded to a :53 4/5 half, continued setting a fast pace under pressure and held well for the show
COURAGEOUS CAT -
Left from post 6 and was used hard to get the lead, yielded to strong pressure in a fast-paced race and didn't tire that badly
JUNGLE OF TERROR*** -
Left belatedly from post 8 and ranged up on the rim while parked the mile without cover, finally got to the leader turning for home and was up late for a game win
MONTICELLO

DOC'S WHISKY -
Had post 7, was third over, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished sharply for the place to be 2nd best to the 4-5 post 1 winner

Was first over a long way, gained 9 lengths though the middle half and held well

GREYSTONE CASH -
Left from post 7 and tried to squeeze into a tuck but was shut off, driver Bartlett kept his cool and dawdled on the rim while 5th, moved into contention at the half while parked the mile without cover, pressured the leader and wore him down gamely under a drive
GEORGETOWN N -
Left from post 6 and tucked 4th, charged up to challenge at the half, took the lead in the stretch but was out-kicked by the pylon-skimming favorite in a game placing
SON OF FERGIE A -
Went first over and paced back-to-back :27 4/5 quarters to draw clear
MAGIC CHEQUE -
Left well from post 8 going a mile and a sixteenth, yielded, brushed back to the lead at the half and was a game second behind the 1-2 favorite
