Power-brushed to the lead in the second quarter, did well to hold the show

PRAIRIE THUNDER -

Had post 7 and moved early on a long first over bid, paced a strong middle-half and held well for the show

SUNSET DREAMER -

Left well from post 9 and was parked to the lead in :28, yielded to a 28-1 shot and was shuffled back in tight quarters

MORTAL COMBAT -

Followed cover past the quarter, lost cover and continued first over, paced a :54 2/5 middle-half, held okay

MAYWOOD

8/22: 4w, no bias

8/21: 3w, no bias

FOX VALLEY HOTSTUF -

Left from post 6 and was parked the mile without cover pressing the pace, held well

GREG AND FLEX -

Was 7th behind weak cover at the half, charged three wide approaching the three quarters, cleared horses and chased uncovered, finished gamely for the place

Left from post 7 and was three deep to the lead in :26 2/5

Had post 8, left, tucked 5th, grinded first over from a tough spot, held okay
