Long-striding 2yo filly trotter floated out of the gate from post 5, tucked fourth on turn one, went first over with authority at the half, took the lead on the outside just past the three quarters, responded to a few taps of the whip in midstretch and drew off quickly
ASIAGO –
Trotter left slowly from post 7 and was parked the mile, ended up fourth over behind a dull flow, went three wide past the three quarters and finished sharply for the show
WHEN DOVESCRY –
Trotter made two moves to the lead before the half, set a solid pace and drew clear impressively under confident handling
GIMPANZEE –
Trotter floated out of the gate and was parked the mile with cover behind a weak flow, was blindswitched on the final turn, found room between horses into the lane and finished quickly for the show with good energy in his second heat
SOUL STRONG –
Trotter had post 10 and was parked the mile following a dull flow of cover, brushed three wide at the three quarters making up good ground and continued gamely to the wire
IDEAL CHILL –
Was 9th at the half in a dull flow, followed cover three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely from a tough spot while finishing in :26 2/5
