Had post 8, moved at the quarter to follow the seven horse, brushed three wide when that one tired and was three wide on the final turn, finished gamely for the win
ALWAYS A FORCE –
Left from post 7, was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace, tough trip
JUST ZIP IT –
Two year old filly was 5th, seven lengths back at the quarter, rushed up approaching the half, uncorked a :27 3/5 third quarter to take control and drew off to win by 12 lengths

Left from post 8 and was used hard to clear past a :26 4/5 opener, set the pace and held well to be second best

Left from post 7, was used hard to the lead in :26 4/5, set the pace over an off track and held okay for the show
ROYALTYHASARRIVED –
Left from post 9 and tucked 4th, went first over and forced a :27 1/5 third quarter, held gamely for the show
PHILADELPHIA
8/6: 3w, the track appeared to be more tiring than it usually is as five horses rallied to win off cover trips and five favorites had the lead and tired

POCONO DOWNS
8/7: 5w, no bias, sloppy track
8/6: 3w, no bias

DANCIN HILL –
Had post 9, saved ground and finished quickly late from a tough spot
JOURNEYMAN –
Left and was used hard to the lead in :26 1/5, set a quick pace keeping pressure at bay and held the show
MEADOWLANDS

HUNTSVILLE –
Had the rail in the mile and an eighth Cane Pace, left strongly in :25 4/5 forcing tucks, set a pressured quick pace and dug in gamely to win driving
ARIANA G –
Trotter moved out off the first turn and brushed to the lead at the half in :54 4/5, set the pace from there, shook off a third quarter bid and drew off to win the Oaks handily
ICE ATTRACTION –
Trotter had post 10, immediately cut over to the rail at the start, a shrewd tactical move that made the difference in her winning by a nose, slipped out third over behind weak cover past the half, moved three wide at the three quarters, four wide late on the final turn, and finished quickly to get up in the Duenna capping off a huge three stakes win day which included the Hambletonian for driver/trainer Ake Svanstedt
