Had post 7, was impeded by a breaker early and ended up 14 lengths behind, followed cover and finished gamely for the place

HOOSIER

4/18: 4w, no bias, sloppy track

4/17: 3w, no bias

4/16: 5w, no bias

LUCKY AGAIN –

Left and was parked to the quarter for the lead, yielded and was shuffled out of contention all the way back to 7th, was coming back on again late

TOWNLINE BLUE BOY –

Trotter followed poor cover and made up 14 lengths from the quarter to the finish

BLUEBIRD REVEREND –

Left and was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace, tough trip

MOBIL BIG JOHN –

Was 8th behind sluggish cover, made a three wide move on the final turn and finished strongly for the place from a tough spot

STAND UNITED –

Was 7th and ten lengths behind at the quarter, followed poor cover and finished strongly for the place, last quarter in :26 flat

NORTHFIELD

4/17: 7w, + speed

4/16: 8w, + speed

SOME POWER –

Left slowly from post 8, was parked the mile without cover, grinded up first over and held gamely for the show

Followed cover third over and finished sharply to miss by a neck

left from post 6 and was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace and held gamely for the show only two heads off the winner in a blanket finish

DAVID’S DRAW –

Was 7th and at least 11 lengths back at the quarter, gained a lot of ground through the middle-half while following cover, followed cover three wide around a tiring horse approaching the three quarters, was wide on the final turn and held well for the show

EAGLE PASS*** -

Was 6th at the quarter, went first over from a tough spot but reached the 4/5 favorite at the half, prompted the pace from there and kept on chugging to the wire to miss by a neck

NEEDLES AND PINS*** –

Was 7th at the half, followed cover third over, followed cover three wide around the final turn and finished gamely to finish second, losing by a head to the pocket trip winner

YONKERS

PERFECT STICK –

Trotter was first over a long way from post 6, held gamely for the show

MELANIE’S FILLY –

Had post 8, followed cover and finished with solid pace for the show from a tough spot
