UNCLE SMOOTHIE – Far back early from post 9, was impeded by a breaker, finished fast for the show

HUES ARTISTIC LADY*** – Had weak cover, moved wide at the half and was wide off cover down the back, reached the leader at the three quarters, surged to command on the final turn, held on gamely

BIO LINK*** – Left from post 7 and was parked the mile battling for the lead, just missed to the 2-5 winner in a game placing

MR SNICKER – A 1-5 shot had a brutal trip parked the mile and 3 deep for half of the race, just missed while racing off the pace over a speed biased track

STONEBRIDGE DAMSEL – Had post 6 and dismal cover, rallied wide and finished willingly against the bias

REALIST – Had post 6, left, tucked, went first over against the 6-5 post 1 favorite, held okay

MAIN A DIEU TOO – Left and was parked forcing a hot pace that buried the stubborn 2-5 favorite, never cleared, tough trip; best bet with a catch driver, price factor in exotics otherwise

ASK DIRECTIONS – Was parked the mile without cover from post 7 and held okay

GUCCIO – Improving 3yo trotting colt finished strongly in :26 4/5 in second start as a 3-year-old

SARANDON BLUE CHIP*** – Promising filly power-brushed to the lead, raced under pressure from the classy and more experienced 3-5 Pirouette Hanover, shook that one off and drew clear to win a $150,000 stakes race in only her second lifetime start

DUNKIRK BEACH – Had post 8, left and tucked, was shuffled with pace in tight quarters; price factor in exotics now

PANESTHETIC – Classy 5yo left and was stuck behind a sluggish horse, gunned three wide to get the lead at the half and held off the closers for a game win in second start off the layoff
