ROCKIN AMADEUS - Quarter-moved to the lead and took on pressure, kept horses hemmed in until mid-stretch, then suddenly drifted off the rail when urged and appeared likely to lose but it appeared to be greenness more than exhaustion as he re-rallied and spurted clear late

CASIMIR JITTERBUG - Left and was parked the mile without cover, grinded first over and held well considering

GOLDEN RECEIVER - Blasted to the lead in :25 3/5, set a blistering pace under pressure going to the three quarters in 1:20, relinquished the lead turning for home but was battling back gallantly along the inside trying to re-rally down the stretch, only lost by 2 lengths in a game try

PET ROCK*** - Left and got caught in a wicked speed duel with Golden Receiver when Pierce cagily kept the hole closed with winner Fred And Ginger, backed up past the half and ended up third over and trapped in a blindswitch, cleared late and held bravely considering the trip

JK LETITGO - Was second over and lost all chance when Authorize and Gingras pulled out, cut him off and put a wheel under him forcing him to break stride; price factor with a drop in class
