Had post 7, followed cover 4th over, rallied wide on the final turn and finished gamely against the bias in a solid placing

PUT IT IN GEAR -
Hustled up first over from a tough spot and held gamely for the place

K SLATER -
Left from post 7 and was used hard to get the lead past the quarter, set a hot pace and held well for the show
WESTERN DAKOTA -
Had poor cover and finished with good velocity in the stretch
SECOND HAND NEWS -
Left and was three wide and then parked to a blazing half, opened up on the field and excusably tired in an impossible trip
WHEELAWAY -
Was parked a long way from post 7, paced a :28 1/5 third quarter and held gamely
