6/30: 0w, + closers, tailwinds, track very tiring both days, favored closers

6/29: 1w, + closers, tailwinds

DUNESIDE BRAT -

Left from post 8 and was parked to the quarter for the lead, yielded, pulled first over from the pocket down the back and challenged for the lead but tired over a closer's track

WASHINGTON HANOVER*** -

Lost some ground when a horse broke and was 11 lengths back at the half, stormed wide and finished strongly pacing a :54 last half to get up for the show

LATEST DESIRE*** -

Saved ground then rallied wide around the final turn and finished in :25 3/5 to just miss

GIBBS -

Was uncovered a long way and held the show

MAJOR MONET -

Had the rail and wired the field, the lone wire to wire winner over the weekend

MAYWOOD

6/28: 3w, no bias

6/27: 4w, + speed

LOOKER HOTSPUR -

Far back early from post 6, made a strong wide backstretch brush gaining 7 lengths to reach contention and held okay

SUMMER PARTY*** -

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th on the first turn, pulled first over mid-second turn and took the lead at the three quarters, drew off as much the best under mild encouragement

NORTHFIELD

6/29: 5w, + speed, 8 leavers won and 4 horses won from first over

6/28: 7w, + speed

ROMANTIC FEVER -

4yo mare made her first start of the year and was an impressive wire to wire winner from post 8 drawing off to win by 7 lengths at 25-1

SWEETIE SUE CAM*** -

Left from post 5 and was used hard pressing a fast pace while parked the mile without cover, excusably tired; at a level now where she is dangerous

MEADOWS

6/28: 3w, no bias, off track

6/27: 5w, no bias, sloppy track

PHILADELPHIA

6/30: 6w, no bias

6/28: 7w, + speed

6/27: 5w, no bias

SPIRIT OF DESIRE -

Left and yielded, was shuffled from 2nd to 6th, found room and finished fast to win

BLU FIN -

Broke before the start, followed cover and made up a lot of ground to get into contention before flattening out but held respectably considering

WHAT A HOOLIGAN -

Was first over a long way pacing a :54 4/5 middle-half and held okay

POCONO DOWNS

6/30: 10w, ++ speed

6/29: 2w, no bias, fast track first 8 races, sloppy track races 9-16

6/28: 1w, no bias

SUNFIRE BLUE CHIP -

Left from post 8 and was three wide around the first turn, brushed sharply to take the lead in front of the stands, set a fast pace under intense pressure and gave way grudgingly to two outstanding colts late in a game effort

DYNAMIC YOUTH -

Left well from post 8, yielded and was shuffled back in close quarters

MEADOWLANDS

Left and was parked the mile without cover forcing a fast pace, tough trip but beat four horses home

MOONLITEONTHEBEACH -

Broke leaving, recovered on the first turn and went up on a long grueling first over trip, had the lead through the final quarter but was in the two-path while unable to clear, excusably tired in the stretch

BULLET SPEED -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 9 and held okay

Had post 7, picked up tiring cover and stormed three wide around the final turn, finished strongly for the place
