LONG ISLAND TEA*** - Trotter broke before the start and according to the track announcer was off the gate by 15 lengths as they approached the start, was 13 lengths behind at the quarter, went up on a long first over move, was pushed three wide for part of the second turn, continued grinding and pressed the leader, weakened in the stretch in a game effort
CLASSIC MARTINE*** - Trotter was in good position second over in front of the stands but broke, was taken back to last and got trotting again, followed cover 4th over, rallied wide midway on the final turn and finished gamely for the place
ALSTON HALL - Trotter was shuffled back behind a tiring horse, moved out in a blindswitch on the final turn and never really got full clearance; price factor in exotics, especially off a drop
